Shelton will be leaving VUZU at the end of the month.

It's been two years since heartthrob Shelton Forbes graced our small screens as Vuzu's hunky presenter. However, Forbes who hails from Eersterust in Pretoria will be leaving the channel at the end of the month.

He's choreographer, actor, presenter and a musician.

We caught up with the star to find out how he balances his many roles and what's next for him.

"Vuzu has decided to go into a different direction, so that's why I'm leaving the show, but I have good relationships there with everyone," he told us.

The 24 -year-old says he wants to inspire and plough back into young people who want to enter the industry, as well as focus on his music career. "I want to start my own academy called Born Untapped (Mzansi Shapers), so that I can take in young people from the ages of 13-18 years and teach them how to present, dance and sing. I want to be remembered as someone, who created opportunities for the next generation of young people," he told us, adding that he's currently working on his upcoming album.

"I have two singles out already, Butterfly and Smoke", he added.

He said Vuzu gave him financial stability. "I started experiencing financial stability when I was on Vuzu, I could drive the car I wanted and achieve the things I wanted," he revealed.

However, he advices young people entering the industry not to become too materialistic and impressionable."The money, the cars only portray what an entertainer's life is supposed to be, but it's not real, so you need to stay true to who you are and always remember why you are doing this," he cautioned.

Even though he's currently single, the star has his ideal woman perfectly mapped out. "I just came from an amazing relationship. I want someone's who real, honest, because I'm from the hood. She must also be reserved, as I'm a loud guy. Basically, I want someone, who knows what they are about," he said.
