Love spicy food? Make this economic meal just the way you like it

Serves 4-6

Preparation: 10 min

Cooking: 30 min

30 ml (2 T) oil

500 g beef mince

2 onions, chopped

5 garlic cloves, chopped

2 cm ginger, minced

2 red chillies, chopped

2,5 ml (½ t) coriander

5 ml (1 t) garam masala

3 tomatoes, chopped

300 ml beef stock

400 g red kidney beans

salt and freshly ground black pepper

  1. Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the mince and fry for 8 minutes. Add the onions, garlic, ginger and chillies and sauté for another 5 minutes or until the onions are soft.
  2. Add the spices and tomatoes and cook for another 3 minutes. Add the stock and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the beans and season with salt and pepper. Serve with rice.
