American cyclist James Martin has been suspended for two years by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.

This is after he missed a doping test earlier this year.

The 40-year-old was punished for the violation of rules after he failed to provide testing samples at the New Jersey Criterium Championships in May.

The two-year ban announced began on August 15 when it was imposed, although only announced later.

Martin has also been disqualified from all races and has had to forfeit all medals, points and prizes.
