Tsekeleke took his last breath surrounded by family and friends.

Singer Mixon Tholo – well known to many as Fatty Boom Boom or Tsekeleke passed on late lastnight after some health issues since last year.

Tsekeleke who had been in and out of hospitals for a while spent his last two months in hospital and had undergone some amputations, four to be exact.

Tsekeleke had diabetes which over time caused peripheral artery disease (PAD), a disease that restricts blood flow to the feet and legs. That is what led to the amputations.

Max "Chief" Mjamba, who was a close friend and mentor to Tsekeleke said the star was in pain during his last days.

"He was the breadwinner for the family. He brought in money through his recordings and performances. He was connected to tubes and couldn't communicate but he was aware of his surroundings," Mjamba told TshisaLive.
