The star opened the talk by telling the assembled ladies that she's in her thirties and still single, but she's not bothered by it, because “I'm in the process.”

“This is the girl that says I've made mistakes – I spent last year bitter and judging other people,” she confessed to the throngs of women. “I had to look at myself in the mirror and ask myself why I was so bitter and see the ugly in other people. “Now I'm scared of judging other people, because I used to swear at people and not care it affected them.

She said she's now finally at peace “with myself, because I can encourage other people, instead of judging them”.

She reminded her audience, “You must always remember that you are the birth mark, because there's nobody in the world like you, so you must take pride in yourself and know who you are.”

Before introducing motivational speaker Thabang Mashigo, Dineo recounted how they had met on Women’s Day on 9 August this year and how Thabang has touched her life.

Thabang prefers to call herself a transformational and inspirational speaker. "Experiences are critical to shaping your character,” she opened her talk. She also shared some of her personal struggles, saying she had to fight battles to remain in a male-dominated environment, but she won her fight.

She also reminded the girls that they are talented. “You are born with nine gifts, but you don't tap into all of them,” she said.

She also urged them to always remember their worth. “The moment you realise your worth, you'll stop giving discounts on areas of your life that make you priceless,” she said.
