The South African music producer, real name Cleopas Monyepao, told POWER FM that he is now pursuing a career in professional soccer as a goalkeeper.

His Twitter handle has even changed to @Keeper.

Cleo is currently training with Absa Premiership side BidVest United, where he is hoping to secure a contract to realise his dream of turning professional.

“My love for soccer started at that time, I went into the music profession where the support I have been getting has been wonderful,” he says

“In November, I told my close associates that I still have a burning desire to play professional soccer, most of them thought I was joking.’

Cleo claims that he is fit to play. “I have been training every day since August.”

Fabian McCarthy is one of the guys who has been very supportive.”
