Dobsonville mother appeals to teens

A mother of one of the girls found murdered in Dobsonvillle has appealed to teenagers to be careful of the company they keep

.

SABC reports that Pheliswa Ratazayo spoke out even in her grief.

The mother of the deceased said: “I hope this will be a wake up call for children. I hope they will respect their parents and apply their warnings if they find themselves in bad company, so that parents' warning will guide them to walk away from such things.”

Two girls, aged 14 and 15 from Dobsonville, were found dead and in their school uniforms on Wednesday.

Police recovered black candles, razor blades and their school bags next to their bodies.??Two 16-year-old boys from the girls school have been arrested in connection with the death.
