Hip hop group Dream Team were never ready for what happened at a pool party they hosted on Saturday in Durban.

Daily Sun reports that the trio were playing host at an exclusive pool party when a group of uninvited guests hopped out of a vehicle, armed with guns.

The men were apparently going for a Durban businessman named Mhlo Gumede - the armed men reportedly pushed him against the wall and assaulted him.

Gumede then reportedly pulled out a gun but fired no shots, this was enough to cause the suspects to flee the scene.

A source told the People's Paper that the fight began because Gumede and a man called Mabanga had beef to squash.

"Mabanga called Mhlo 'Makhoba'. Mhlo reportedly corrected him, telling him his name was Gumede. Instead of apologising, Mabanga told Mhlo to f**k off or he would go out of the gate crawling like a baby," the source told the publication.

"I called my crew to beat the hell out Mhlo because earlier on at the party he pulled a gun on me," Mabanga reportedly said of his involvement in the incident.

Mhlo also told his side of the story allegedly saying:

"Mabanga deliberately referred to me by somebody else's surname. I corrected him many times, but he insisted."

The paper also reached out to a member of the Durban group, Trevor Sineke who said he could not discuss the party.

Talk about disturbing the peace.
