"There was a large display of South African produce and Cape Town was one of the cities that stood out in this regard. "

This past weekend I was flanked by food and wine lovers from around the globe at the annual Good Food and Wine Show.

There was a large display of South African produce and Cape Town was one of the cities that stood out in this regard.

Much like every year, the Good Food and Wine Show has an international celebrity chef and this year we were joined by The Cake Boss’ Buddy Valastro and MasterChef Australia  judge Matt Preston.

Festival goers lined up to catch a glimpse of their cooking demonstrations and to attend their book signings.

Although the showcase is all about experiencing good food and wine, there are other facets of the food industry  to tickle one’s fancy too -  like the array of cutlery, kitchen appliances and cleaning products on sale.

The next time the Good Food and Wine Show is in your city go and experience tasting delicious food, sipping on vintage wine and meeting new people from around the world.
