Another sold out DRUMBEAT concert

The 4th installment of Drum Beat brought music lovers, celebrities and some entrepreneurs back to Soweto Theatre on 10 May and it was a blast. Sold Out for the first time since it's inception the atmosphere was joyful, electric yet orderly at Soweto Theatre. The three stages which hosted 12 artists were all full at any given time when the acts were performing. Legendary Zimbabwean muso Oliver Mtukudzi was one of the highlight of the night. During his performance everyone gathered by the main stage leaving the rest of the venue literally deserted.

"I am grateful for music, Drum Beat music festival and it's sponsors but most importantly I am grateful for you the audience because without you, non of all this would happen. Thank You!", Oliver said.

African pop legend Ringo Madlingozi serenaded the audiences with his hits ad hinted that he hadn't performed in Soweto for a long time and was ecstatic to be performing at Drum Beat. He got loud screams from the ladies as he danced sensually on most of his love ballads. "I have never seen this side of Ringo before, I love it," said a blushing female fan.

The other stand out acts were Indwe and Jaziel brothers  who literally caused a stampede in the Red Room Stage. Their shows were packed that some fans couldn't get in. The Soil, Hip hop star Reason, Nancy G, Lira and Zakes  Bantwini left the crowd wanting more.
