Sci-fi action. 2010. 142 min. With Leonardo DiCaprio, Cillian Murphy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Director: Christopher Nolan. 13V.

Dom Cobb (DiCaprio) and Arthur (Gordon-Levitt) are part of a team whose business it is to steal corporate secrets from influential people’s minds by entering their dreams. Then Cobb decides to take things further and see if he can influence one of his victim’s (Murphy) waking decisions – by planting ideas in his dreams.

The story soon moves into a series of dreams within dreams, so you’d better be wide awake or risk getting lost in the plot! DiCaprio and the rest of the cast are in fine form, the action scenes are impressive and the surrealistic dream visuals will blow your mind. In the end, though, it’s the ideas the film plays with that’ll leave you thinking about what you’ve just seen and it ends on a strong, emotional note.

A landmark movie with brilliant direction by Christopher Nolan, Inception deserves to be seen more than once. An instant classic. Bonus: featurettes.
