Love comes in different forms. And this is the verse e-tv is preaching to its viewers.

The Tuesday love short stories have been turned into a series - thanks.

At the launch of the series, the head of channels, Monde Twala revealed  that as from 24 July, Mzansi Love will be a series, no longer short stories. "Mzansi love project was an adaptation of several short love stories, that's where it all started." He said this was a theme around love and Valentines Day. "Now the project [has] evolved beyond and we've  carried over the theme."

Monde said they decided to focus on love because most dramas are gritty, full of violence and lack inspiration and happy ending concept.

"Celebrate love stories. We all have relationships and that's a common thread and there is nothing like a great love story. We have great hope

in this brand, which used to be a stand alone," he says.

The event was attend by the cast including Khanyi Mbau, Wandile Molebatsi, Generations' actress, Xoli Zondi. Khanyi plays the lead on Mzansi Love and the first episode shown at the launch was welcomed with applause.

The first episode will be aired on 24 July 2014 at 20:30. - by Khosi Biyela
