eTV's series of mini-documentaries on well-known South African personalities is back for a fourth season.

The Close Up, presented by Nicki Greenwall, features intimate interviews with never-before-seen footage of the celebrities.

Among the guests confirmed for the new season  is rapper Psyfo, actress Leleti Khumalo, DJ Euphonik, socialite Khanyi Mbau, TV personality Pearl Modiadie, DJ Zinhle, comedian Trevor Gumbi, model Lerato Moloi, and choreographer Somizi Mhlongo.

In the first episode, viewers will get a closer look into the life of Sipho Ngwenya, more popularly known as Psyfo.

Take a look intot he life of this Kimberly-born star and learn of how he ran away from home as a child to find a new one in Johannesburg.

From his early days as a kids presenter – to his current career as an actor, producer and rapper; it's hard to believe this pint-sized star has been on the small screen for almost two decades.

The first episode of The Close Up airs on Wednesday, 13 August at 8pm.
