Facebook has announced its new payment service which will allow you to ping money to friends and family via its Messenger app.

The simple service lets you add debit card details to the app so you can instantly send and receive cash with a tap on your smartphone.

Facebook is hoping this new feature will give people a more convenient and secure way to send or receive money.

Meanwhile, Facebook has released a full list of banned posts in their revamped community standards section that now includes "fully exposed buttocks" and "images of female breasts if they include the nipple".

It's hoped the new guidelines will bring clarity over what can and cannot be posted on the social site.

The mega social network sharing site said in a statement, "Restrictions on the display of both nudity and sexual activity also apply to digitally-created content unless the content is posted for educational, humorous or satirical purposes. Explicit images of sexual intercourse are prohibited. Some verbal descriptions of sexual acts that go into vivid detail may also be removed."
