Josie Harris, who has three children with Floyd Mayweather, is suing him for what seems to be defamation of character.

Floyd Mayweather's undisputed victory over the weekend has been short-lived, the boxing world champion is being sued by his baby mama for $20 million. TMZ reports that Josie Harris, who has three children with Mayweather, is suing him for what seems to be defamation of character. Mayweather said that Harris was in  a was in a "drug-fueled rage" and had to “restrain” her during a domestic violence incident which took place in 2010. The utterances were recorded on an American talk show which Mayweather was a guest on two weeks before his fight with Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas. Harris has exposed the claims as false and explains "how she and Floyd had broken up … but he flew into a jealous rage that night, broke into her home and viciously attacked her while she was sleeping on her couch … and her kids saw part of the beating," her lawsuit claims. The lawyer that Harris has hired to represent her has said that Mayweather's claims "were knowingly fabricated in order to hype Mayweather’s upcoming fight with Pacquiao, to avoid bad press by deflecting responsibility for beating the mother of his children.”

Harris claims that she is now being labeled as a drug addict and has been embarrassed on a global scale for what Mayweather was found guilty and spent two months in prison for.

She now wants a payout in excess of $20 million.
