Generations’ Jafta Mamabolo

IT'S a huge contrast: Generations' Matthew is a loud, good-for-nothing character who always gets his way. But the man who plays him, Jafta Mamabolo, couldn't be more different – reserved, wellbehaved and soft-spoken.

"I'm actually a real pushover," he says, smiling sweetly. "I suppose you could call me a chilled person – people say I'm the last guy they'd want in their corner in a fight!"

But for Generations fans Jafta (23) is the guy who scored with Queen Moroka, planting a big kiss on the soapie veteran. Naturally we're curious about how it felt making out with the elegant Sophie Ndaba.
