Hansa Festival of Legends to honour Brenda Fassie

Hansa will take over Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown, Johannesburg on Saturday, March 23, festival hosted by Anele and Bob Mabena will pay tribute to legend Brenda Fassie, who is gone but will never be forgotten. There will also be a tribute for South African Kwaito legend Arthur.

Fans can expect to see performances by Khuli Chana, Zakes Bantwini, Amu, Spikiri, The Muffinz, TKZee plus 30 more of the best South Africa has to offer.  The festival will cater to all tastes, revelers can also look forward to performances from Lulo Café with his cutting edge house music, hip hop group Skwatta Kamp and acapella singing group The Soil.  DJ Vigi will be spinning the decks and hip hop DJ Dimplez will keep the crowds on their feet.

Demanding high energy levels, the 10-hour Festival will boast, among other exciting activities, a street parade and Hansa Festival of Legends Lounges, created and themed according to artists and genres and showcasing their music.
