Cashbuild, has assisted Mdelwa Nkosi (105) with a new toilet facility.

In what seems to be a welcome gesture,  Believed to be Alexandra's oldest resident, Mdelwa was, until now, sharing an outside bathroom and toilet facilities together with nine other families in the area.

Musicians and community builders, Mandla Spikiri and Nkiyase Mondlana through their companies Spikiri Entertainment, Kalawa Jazmee and Relay Concepts in partnership with Alex FM approached Cashbuild with the view of sourcing assistance for Nkosi and other families of Alexandra through their annual Alex Easter charity show, which is Mandla Spikiri’s initiative aimed to raise funds for the needy in Alexandra.

“This is exactly this type of project that Cashbuild’s Community Support Initiative caters for. Cashbuild is about community partnership and upliftment. We are a community-focused company and we care deeply about our communities. We don’t just talk, we really try to walk the talk and make a meaningful difference to our customer’s lives,” said Werner De Jager, Chief Executive of Cashbuild.
