He's stopped calling you. What now?

You had what you thought was a great date but you suddenly stop hearing from him. What to do? Read this!

You had what you thought was a great date and you seemed to be well on your way to something great but then, suddenly, communication tapers off and you don't hear from him.

What do you do in this case? Here are some ideas:

Call someone else

This doesn’t mean “get over A by getting under B” but it’s more along the lines of distracting yourself constructively. Call a friend up and ENJOY the bliss of being single and alive. Do YOU!

Give him the benefit of the doubt

There are a number of reasons why a man doesn’t call other than him not wanting to. Sometimes it’s a good idea to give him the benefit of the doubt for a certain period of time before cutting him off completely.

Start on a clean slate

If after you’ve given him a reasonable amount of time (whatever works for you) to contact you he still hasn’t, delete his number and messages. Remove anything that might remind you of him and tempt you to head back that way. Block him if you can. Nobody should feel like they can walk in and out of your life at will.

Take five

Taking a break from dating altogether could be just what you need to help you figure out what you want and help you figure out how to do things differently going forward with the next guy.

Know your worth

So many times people lay the blame solely on the woman for reasons why a man doesn’t call back. The truth of the matter is that the reason or reasons he may not have called back could be because he wasn’t man enough to be with you or he may not have been ready for what you wanted.

Give yourself closure

Send that final, direct message that lays out quite clearly how you feel and that you’re done. He should either step up or continue walking the opposite direction. Whichever way it goes, it’s better for you to know where you stand.
