Since your SAMA nominated debut album, you went quiet, what have you been up to since then?

Studied, worked at call centers, radio station, hair salon, started a business, voice overs, jingles, collaborating with artists, MC work, recording music and hosting on tv.

What's your new Mtsasekhaya about and what inspired the catch video concept?

Mtasekhaya is about being a powerful being with unimaginable strength. I have been through a lot, had my heart broken, bullied, second guessed, underestimated and I needed all these lessons. I included my grandmother in the concept cause she had just lost a daughter and I a mother . If there was anyone in my family with more strength it would be her. I wanted to honor my family for the things they have done for me. I can't imagine any other way.

Are we going to see you release any new album soon? If you do what kind of music can we expect from it?

I have never limited the possibilities in music and my involvement within. I can't say right away how my career will progress but amazing things ahead. My next single is on the way.

Who inspires you musically?

I listen to a lot of music in general. I'm inspired by sounds. I like to create.

Tell us about how your musical journey began? When did you decide that you would pursue music full time and how has that journey been?

I've been singing since I could speak but I was 15 years old when I first walked into a recording studio. The only girl in an all boy crew. We called ourselves the 5th Killas. The first time I heard my voice coming through a speaker was when we recorded and completed our first song "Fly".

What five things would people be surprised to know about you?

•I'm always working on my birthday or the week around it

• I quit choir twice in high school. Mrs. Little wouldn't let me be great.

• I don't have a tv, yet.

• I'd like to work with Burna Boy

• I love to cook and eat.

What's your dream for yourself as a human being and as an artist?

My dream is to live my best life, success and love. Always make thyself proud.
