I’m a family man: Theo Kgosinkwe

It’s a bitterly cold day – the wind is shrieking across the impressive garden, whipping dry leaves and twigs into a frenzy. But as we’re welcomed into the beautiful family home by the man of the house, warmth immediately surrounds us and we forget about the frigid weather.

In the cosy entrance hall we expect to be confronted with an expensive piece of art but are touched to find The Lord is my Shepherd from Psalm 23 engraved beautifully into the wall.

It’s clear this home belongs to someone who lives a life of gratitude and humility. That person is Theo Kgosinkwe (39), one half of the successful duo Mafikizolo.

“This is one of our favourite scriptures,” Theo explains. “We feel it captures perfectly the essence of our home and our values. The Lord has taken us under His wing and He will protect and provide for us. My family lives by the words of this Psalm.”
