IPHC Bishop Clayton Modise Dies

The International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) bishop, Clayton Modise is dead.

International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) bishop, Clayton Modise is dead.

Details are sketchy but DRUM is reliably informed that the bishop died early today (Tuesday 09 February). Known for its choir, IPCC (International Pentecostal Church Choir), the church was founded in 1962 by his father Reverend Frederick S Modise.

Known to church members as 'Moemedi'', `Ntate'' and `Comforter’' reverend Frederick died in 1998 and was buried at the Zuurbekom church headquarters. Among the mourners at the funeral were prominent South African politicians, including President Thabo Mbeki, Stanley Mogoba of the PAC.
