Jabu Mahlangu will be raking in R3 million over the next three years.

Jabu Mahlangu will be raking in R3 million over the next three years.

This comes as a result of two endorsement deals from Engen's Knockout Youth Challenge competition and DSTV, according to Sunday World.

Mahlangu has been handpicked by the paid channel broadcaster to be the ambassador for their campaign, which will run until the end of the year.

The former Kaizer Chiefs striker started shooting for the campaign earlier this week and it is expected for Mahlangu to grace newspapers and billboards from August.

The campaign is also expected to undertake new media advertising via social media.

When he spoke to the publication, Mahlangu was chuffed about his endorsement deal and believes his deals  have come as a result of some Madiba magic.

"It's a blessing for me to be sharing a star and my birth month with Madiba. In fact, I surrendered my life to God on the day of Madiba's funeral," he told the site.

When asked for details about Mahlangu's DSTV endorsement, the broadcaster's marketing manager Nonny Mokoena-Chimhandamba revealed:

"DSTV is running a campaign called Kumnand'Ekhaya highlighting and showcasing the best local entertainment and football on DSTV Compact. We will be featuring Mahlangu in the print execution which focuses on the best of local and showcases the great content on Super Diski."

We'll be keeping an eye out for Mahlangu doing his thing for his two gigs and wish him even more prosperity.
