Japanese women are being hired to paint advertisements on their thighs and use them as "billboards".

Japanese women are being hired to paint advertisements on their thighs.

A PR company in the country is enlisting the services of women over the age of 18 to stroll around Tokyo for eight hours a day with banners on their pins in order to capitalise on the number of men who like to look at female legs.

PR consultant Hidenori Atsumi said: "It's an absolutely perfect place to put an advertisement as it is what guys are eager to look at and girls are okay to expose."

He reportedly encourages the women to wear mini skirts and high socks to ensure the "banners" get plenty of attention.
