Judith Sephuma: Back with a new beat

Despite the loss of her three-month-old baby last year, jazz and gospel icon Judith Sephuma is back with a bang. She attributes her growth, healing and success to God.

Bouncing back after a tragedy takes courage and strength. Singer-songwriter Judith Sephuma’s life was thrown into turmoil last year, when her premature baby girl passed away at only three months old.

But now, DRUM meets with a star who’s back and ready to take on the world.

She recently released a new studio album titled One Word. It’s her second album as an independent artist. The New Beginnings singer took the decision to produce, record and distribute her own music without the backing of a big music company when she left her former record company, Sony Music.
