Singer Kelly Khumalo and her sister Zandi are back in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court.

The sisters had been arrested at the Hillbrow police station following an incident that happened in late August.

On October 8, the sisters handed themselves over to police after allegedly assaulting the wife of Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.

According to a charge sheet in DRUM’s possession, Kelly found Meyiwa chatting to his wife Mandisa on Empire Road near the M1 in Johannesburg.

She allegedly stopped her car and assaulted Mandisa, without provocation.

Kelly and Zandi also pulled Mandisa by her hair, hit her with car keys and kicked her.

The Khumalo sisters also face charges of reckless driving and malicious damage to property in addition to the assault charge.
