Kelly Khumalo’s son, Christian, appeared to be oblivious to all the trauma and tragedy that surrounded his mom’s Vosloorus home as people arrived following her partner, Senzo Meyiwa’s fatal shooting.

The little guy, whose father is culpable homicide convicted rapper Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye, ran around the yard and made playful faces at the many people who continued to move in and out of the house. “Please take a picture of me, he laughed,” as he played at a neighbour’s home not far from his mom’s house.

“Wow, so many cars. I’ve never seen so many cars in one place before,” he excitedly said. The playful toddler seems to have no idea of the eventful week that awaits the family as the country mourns Meyiwa’s death and pays their final respects this weekend.

The 27-year-old  Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper and captain Senzo Meyiwa, was shot dead on Sunday night in an alleged robbery.
