Popular kwaito musician Mzambiya is now a doting dad – and he couldn’t be happier.

Fatherhood is likely to affect a kwaito maestro’s street cred big time, right? Wrong, insists crowd-pleaser Mzambiya (born Nkosinathi Zwane), who positively dotes on his eight-month-old “mini me”, Nkosinathi Jnr.

“This boy is lovely, he’s very close to my heart,” he gushes.

“He came at a point in my life when I was looking for inspiration. I just didn’t know he’d be the inspiration I needed.

He claims his life doesn’t revolve around other people’s expectations of him.

“So the issue of keeping or losing street cred doesn’t bother me.

I’m not your usual rapper.”
