The rapper has explained his idea behind the album sleeve that shows a university building in the background.

A month ago, the self-proclaimed king of African rap collaborated with Cassper Nyovest on a track titled Ngud’. Apparently, the hit single is currently the most played song in Mzansi.

Kwesta, whose real is name Senzo Vilakazi, is set to release his forthcoming double CD titled DaKAR II on 26 February. He’s already released the video for the song.

The rapper says the 22-track album is twice the value for fans, describing it as “the best work I’ve ever done”. The BoomShakaLaka hitmaker is bringing it home with songs featuring Kid X and Yanga, who are also due to release albums respectively.

DaKAR II also features AKA, Busiswa, OkMalumkoolKat, Bucie and DJ Maphorisa from Uhuru. It’s believed that since its release, Ngud’ has been the most searched song on music app Shazam. Kwesta has been in the industry for nine years.
