Ladysmith Black Mambazo celebrate 56th year anniversary

Having sold over 1 million albums in the UK alone, Lady Smith Black Mambazo have put South Africa on the world stage.

Multi Grammy award winning Isicathamiya group, Ladysmith Black Mambazo came together in the 1960’s lead by Joseph Shabalala.

2016 marks the 56th year in music for Ladysmith Black Mambazo and they will be celebrating this milestone in style at The Night of Legends concert held at The Joburg Theatre from Saturday 10 September (7pm) & Sunday 11 September (3pm).

The night promises to be an exclusive and intimate two-day non-stop nostalgia, taking the audience on a journey through the group's many successes, where they will be singing all-time favourites Homeless, Diamonds on the soles of her shoes, Nomathemba and Ofananaye.
