According to the Contingency Fees Act, attorney’s fees may not exceed 25 % of the total amount of money awarded to clients.

According news source Newsinfo SA the pair were supposed to be arrested on Wednesday morning at 7 am following a 9 am court appearance and possible bail application.

More high profile arrests of 'persons of interest' connected to the Bobroffs have taken place or will take place in the next twenty-four hours.

The Bobroffs, and their partner Stephen Bezuidenhout, have been described by the Law Society as having perpetrated “the biggest fraud and theft of client funds by any attorney in the history of South Africa.”
