Shakes Mashaba has selected a 25-man Bafana Bafana squad to play two international friendlies against Costa Rica and Honduras.

South Africa travel to South America in the next FIFA international break between October 5-13.

Mashaba's charges take on Costa Rica on Thursday, October 8 in Liberia at the Baltodano Bricenio Stadium.

Kick-off is at 04:00 SA time on Friday, October 9.

Five days later, Bafana Bafana clash against Honduras at the Metropolitano Stadium in San Pedro Sula.

Kick-off is at 00:00 SA time.

In the latest FIFA rankings, Costa Rica are ranked 39th, while Honduras are 81st.

Bafana Bafana are ranked at 72nd.
