Lesedi FM DJ, Nyakallo "Ba2cada" Leine is reportedly suing Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa after an alleged assault that took place late last year over a traffic fine.

Ba2cada claims that two Zamdela police officers "kicked and slapped" him before taking him to the station.

City Press reports that a fight started between the DJ and the officers, after he reportedly "interfered" with the officers who were trying to issue a fine.

The DJ was found guilty last year of interfering with a police officer's duties and was handed a five-year suspended sentence, stemming from the incident, but he is now reportedly pursuing the case amid the assault claims.

Ba2cada is suing the officers and Nathi Mthethwa.

"I want to teach them a lesson. If they think they can continue to beat up people and get away with it, then they don't know what's coming their way," he said to the paper.
