The axed actors have moved on with their lives

After drama around SABC 1 soapie Generations, today marks the 7th episode on air for new and revamped Generations the legacy. The new sequel has been met with mixed feelings by the viewers but  has attracted significantly high viewership. While the new actors are now experiencing growing popularity, here is what the axed Generations actors have been up to; Thato Molamu (Nicholas), the last time we saw him was when he ran away with his girlfriend Akhona and his son Nikki to Botswana. Nicholas was running away from his obsessive baby mama Zodwa. In real life Thato is currently hosting What's Behind The Wall, a game show on SABC 2. Thato is meant to join actors Nomzamo Mbatha and Hamilton Dlamini in an up coming etv drama called Umlilo that starts in February 2015. ?Winnie Ntshaba (Khethiwe) is currently busy with putting together the second installment of her Royalty Soapie Awards which she founded in 2013. The awards will take place in Durban in March 2015.  Mandla Gaduka (Choppa)  has just wrapped up shooting his part for season 2 of SABC2’s Gauteng Maboneng. Slindile Nodangala (Mam’ Ruby) and  Patrick Shai (Patrick) have been silent on what they are working on.  A weekly magazine recently reported that Zenande Mfenyana (Noluntu) is a brand ambassador for  an online store called Chelline. Menzi Ngubane (Sibusiso) will join the SABC drama Uzalo, which will start early 2015. Atandwa Kani (Samora) who is also son of acting legend John Kani is currently busy with theatre. He was also in the news recently on reports that his wife was cheating on him. Anga Makubalo (MJ) is currently busy pursuing his music career. No reports of him acting have been released.  The actress who played Dineo, Katlego Danke was pregnant with her first child when she got fired. City Press reported recently that the actress has used this time to take care of her new born son.  Thami Mngqolo (Senzo) just wrapped up filming  sitcom Kota Life Crisis which airs on Mzansi Magic.  City Press reported that Nambitha Mpumlwana (Mawande) , Sophie Ndaba (Queen) , Zolisa Xaluva (Jason) and Zikhona Sodlaka (Priska) are said to be joining ETV soon on one of the channels up coming show.  Seputla Sebogodi (Kenneth) has joined another soapie, Rhythm City on etv.
