Lulu Dikana will be laid to rest in Bloemfontein

ulu Dikana, will be laid to rest on Saturday 13 December 2014 in Bloemfontein at her maternal home which is also where Lulu Dikana’s mother and elder sister are buried.

Lulu, died in hospital last week, shocking fans and many celebrities, who believed she had a lot to offer.

Friends and fans can pay their respects at the funeral service which will be held at Tsoseletso High School Hall, DR DM Selemela Street, Bloemanda, Bloemfontein, from 9:am.

In a media statement issued by on behalf of Lulu’s family, Sony Music Entertainment Africa and Sound African Recordings said: “The Dikana family wish to thank all friends, fans and fellow musicians for their heartfelt support and words of comfort at this time of deep sorrow.

"As a young girl under her father’s guidance, the late Viva Dikana, Lulu learnt the art of perfection in her craft and approached her work with meticulous standards, with an intricacy often beyond the casual listener.”

Her last live performances were three opening dates for John Legend’s Johannesburg leg of 'The All of Me Tour' in November 2014.

A month earlier, Lulu had released her album ‘I Came To Love’ (06 Oct 2014) which documents some powerful life lessons.

The musical direction for the album was inspired by the sudden death and loss of her elder sister in 2013 and her Faith and personal relationship with God.
