Since being named the "Most Beautiful" by People, optioning the film rights to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's best-selling novel Americanah and other countless accolades, the Kenyan starlet has landed her next big role in the upcoming highly-anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII, shutting down all of the naysayers who believed the “hype” had worn off, reports the celebrity gossip site.

Rumours started to circulate that the Academy Award winning actress would be acting in the sci-fi film after she met with director J.J. Abrams a few weeks before the Oscars and now those rumors have been confirmed.
