The EFF says David Mabuza’s statement that he has a mission to bring back Julius Malema to ANC, is as a selfish attempt at raising his profile and make news.

The EFF says it regards ANC Chairman of Mpumalanga, David Mabuza’s statement that he has a mission to bring back Julius Malema to ANC, as a selfish attempt at raising his profile and make news.

“Mabuza who represents nothing ideologically, has taken a decision to use the name of the Commander-in-Chief in his campaign towards the ANC conference,” says Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, EFF spokesperson.

“We know for sure that he does not mean any of the things he is saying, just like those in the ANC who are talking about the land,” he adds.

Ndlozi says the ANC claim that they believe in land expropriation without compensation but it’s just an attempt to gain public attention.

“Malema will never be recruited into any political work or formation by a kleptocrat (meaning a ruler who use their power to steal the country’s resources),” says Ndlozi.

“He represents everything that is wrong about the ruling party; he is like Zuma's first born kleptomaniac. Like all kleptocrats they suffer deep ideological bankruptcy because all they know is corruption.”

Mabuza made his statement on Sunday saying he believes expelling Malema from the ANC was at a great cost to the ruling party.

He also said ANC would be stronger if it had Malema on board and that the ANC becomes weaker when leaders leave.
