Majoro to join Pirates

It’s seems the much talked about transfer move of Lehlohonolo Majoro to SuperSport United is off the table.

United has issued a short media statement via their official twitter account: “We have officially withdrawn our offer for L.Majoro's services. We wish Majoro all the best.”

Until recently all indications were that Majoro was joining Matsatsantsa.

DRUM understands that the player now wants to join Orlando Pirates instead.

Chief’s football manager Bobby Motaung had said: "Majoro has stated his wish and we did not want to stand in his way. He knows Chiefs very well and hence will not try to convince him to stay or leave as he knows what's best for him. We want to create an enabling environment for the players and not stifle the players if they want to explore their dreams and ambitions.”
