Here’s how you can get more intentional about quality time and get rid of the date night blues.

Do you struggle with keeping the romance going on days that aren’t your anniversary, birthday or Valentine’s Day? You might be suffering from date night blues.

Here are some signs you may be suffering:

  • You can’t remember the last time you went on a date alone.
  • You never know what you want to do.
  • You don’t really know how to have fun anymore, too many responsibilities to worry about.

Here’s how you can get more intentional about quality time and get rid of the date night blues:

Schedule your date nights in advance

You don’t have to commit to plans just yet, but scheduling the date in advance ensures that you don’t make any other commitments on that day.

Create a bucket list

This is a list of restaurants, museums and other entertainment venues in your area that you’ve never been to before. It can be one or both of you that has never been. This will keep things interesting and new.

 Take turns planning

This makes things easier and prevents one of you from always coming up with ideas.

Be spontaneous

Even with being intentional about planning, you don’t have to over think yourself into frenzy over what to do. It’s okay to keep things simple!

See it as an investment in your relationship

Find activities that work best for your budget as well as your interests and then make them happen.

Get rid of the date night blues make every day Valentine’s Day.
