Malaika's Tshedi Mholo releases solo album

After years of success with the afro-pop group, Malaika, lead singer Tshedi Mholo has finally released her much-anticipated solo album Victory.

After years of success with the afro-pop group, Malaika, lead singer Matshediso Florence Mholo, popularly known by her stage name Tshedi has finally released her much-anticipated solo album Victory.

The 37 year-old Lichtenburg born Tshedi says the CD is culmination of a two year long recording process.

“The album took long because I had to be satisfied with the quality I want to be known and respected for. In this industry you can never take your fans and supporters for granted. When they hear it they will know that “Victory” has been worth the wait,” says the proud mother of two daughters Kamogelo and Amukelani.

With a mix of genres including jazz, R&B, classical and gospel music, this 13 tracks album released on 14 October 2013 by Sony Music is a must-have.

It is just the CD to jam along to in your car or at a family gathering.

Tracks to look out for include, This Song, Ngithembe, Bo Mme, Heart Attack featuring Jah Seed and Umsebenzi.
