Busisiwe also said that there will be a memorial service at the Durban City Hall at 12 pm. “But we won’t take his body to the city hall,” she said.

She explained that Senzo’s wife, Mandisa, has also arrived in KwaZulu-Natal and she’s currently sitting on the mattress. Asked how Mandisa is doing, Busisiwe said: “She’s okay, she has accepted.”

Busisiwe added that Senzo’s parents have also accepted their son’s death and they are strong.   “Senzo was always smiling and that’s what makes us strong. We have accepted, even though we don’t know how we’re going to feel after we see him. But I think we’re strong enough. We cried a lot after it [Senzo’s death] happened.”

Busisiwe described Senzo as a man who loved his family and always wanted them to be happy. “He was the kind of person who brought the family together, even if there were problems. If you have a problem and you tell him, it would all be solved.”
