Meyiwa: R250 000 reward still on the table

The three people taken for questioning this weekend in connection with the murder of Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa, could not be positively linked and were subsequently released, Gauteng police said on Monday.

Divisional commissioner of detective services Lt-Gen Vinesh Moonoo, said 13 people in total had been questioned in connection with the killing of the Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates keeper.

“On Friday, we had taken the docket for the prosecutor to advise us whether we were on the right direction,” said Moonoo.

“The people arrested at Beit Bridge were subsequently released. They could not be linked to the case.”
