Minnie's calendar out at last

Minnie Dlamini has had quite the year!

We saw the beauty travelling across the world for her duties as a sports presenter and taking over New York City.

The KZN native also spent the past time shooting in places like the Moses Mabhida stadium, uShaka Marine World and the iconic sugar cane fields of the coast.

Having kept the project on the hush for a long time, it was with great excitement that DRUM discovered this was all work towards Minnie’s first calendar. The 2015 calendar is linked to the starlet’s foundation, which aims to help young girls attain clothes, toiletries, stationery, school uniform and food.

“Many young girls suffer the embarrassment of not having and thus end up dropping out of school or as a result of not having they become victims of bullying. This is just a small token I can extend to them that I hope will take away the feeling of embarrassment and of not belonging. No girl child should ever feel ashamed of herself and not be provided with the tools that lead to her education,” the beauty said.

Minnie's calendar, which was initially set for launch in November, is finally out.  “I am working with the most amazing creative team, the photographer Aubrey Johnson, is a Durbanite and has thus far captured the beauty of the city – and mine of course, in a very artistic way. The Zulu attire was something we came up with and my mother, Queen Dlamini, styled it. Each look has a story attached to its location,” she told DRUM exclusively.

Fans of the media sensation can make orders for purchase.

Well done, Minnie!
