Speaking to Pearl Modiadie on Zaziwa, Khuli said that before something great happens, "something bad has to happen."

However this wasn't merely enough to stop the Tswa Daar hitmaker, he said that after shootout "the blessings that came after that, were much more, especially after I forgave them for what happened." He added that he's "life became better" even though he had "so much to deal with."

The rapper added that they shot the documentary called Picking up the pieces to let his fans know what happened and what his been through, but he wasn't going to stagnate on it, but instead use it as fuel for new music and motivation to keep pushing forward.
