It seems South Africans are making a name for themselves on the international stage. First Trevor Noah landed one of the biggest hosting jobs on The Daily Show in the USA; Dj Black Coffee made waves after playing at the biggest pool party hosted by P.Diddy, then Dj Maphorisa produced a hit single for rapper Drake featured on his latest album Views. Now, Cape Town based pop band Beatenberg represented Mzansi when they performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon alongside British rock band Mumford and Sons and Senegalese singer Baaba Maal. Beatenberg band mates Matthew Field, Robin Brink and Ross Dorkin performed Wona, a single featured on the Mumford and Sons album. Beatenberg became popular in Mzansi when they were featured by house Dj, Clock in 2013 on his single, Remember you and they have not looked back since.
