On Mzansi Magic’s new drama series, Doubt, he plays Sanele, who is arrested at the altar for the murder of a stripper from his bachelor party. The question is did he do it, or is he being framed?

His bride Lindiwe, played by Isidingo actress, Khanya Mkangisa will be trying to prove her man’s innocence despite all the suspicions against him. The series’ producer, Nomusa Nzima, described it as a high-stakes drama with a storyline that has a lot of twists and turns.

“Everyone has a secret that they are hiding. I’m sure that the audience will enjoy the rollercoaster that Doubt will take them on. We have a strong cast with a mix of established and fresh talent,” Nomusa says.

The cast includes veteran actors Amanda Quwe, who will be playing Sanele’s mother, Grace, and Glen Gabela as his father Judge Jacob. Another Saints and Sinners alum, Siyabonga Radebe, plays his brother, while former Scandal actor Siyabonga Shibe will be the impulsive Captain Dube. Last but not least, Lucia Mthiyane plays Lindiwe’s mother Thembisile.

According to M-Net’s Head of Drama at Local Interest Channels, Reneilwe Sema, “Doubt is a drama with unbelievable story layers and intrigue. Viewers will appreciate the edgy and fast-paced plot which offers an alternative drama option to anything on their screens currently.”

Has our beautiful bride Lindiwe fallen for a murderer? Only time will tell. The series premieres on Mzansi Magic Channel 161 on 11 April at 8pm.
