Remember 90s R&B group, Twins? They gave us songs such as Shona Phantsi and Love 10, 000 which won them South African Music Awards.

Well, they are now all grown and indulging in other ventures.

Nhlanhla Shabangu, one half of the popular R&B outfit Twins has gone from heartthrob to a serious player in the business world.

"I wanted to leave the industry while still relevant. The music was a launching pad. We also felt that the objective had been achieved," Nhlanhla tells us.

He is considered the “good twin” between him and his brother, Lucky, who’s been had a fair share of being on the wrong side of law.

Nhlanhla’s business interests are in property, telecommunications and construction.

He’s now a businessman and the president of Miss Heritage South Africa. "There will be fifty international guests from all over the world,” he said.

He describes heritage as being "about identity and celebrating who you in the midst of everything happening around you. It's knowing your history and knowing what makes your country stand out while still thriving as part of the collective."

Miss Heritage SA is said to be about unifying Mzansi’s culturally diverse people by promoting a vision of oneness.

The event is set to take place on the 24th of September 2015 at Melrose Arch.
