Within four years, the rapper has climbed the charts, landed several movie roles and earned a judging spot on American Idol.

She’s ready to explore new possibilities in another realm of her life now: "I don't want to work my whole life without ever experiencing the joys of a family," she told L'Uomo Vogue's October issue. "I would like to take a hiatus and dedicate myself completely to my child."

She explains her journey to superstardom as a female rapper and the struggle towards this: "At first, no one took me seriously. In the world of rap, women are usually relegated to the choir. I want to build my empire. In my field, I have always seen men do it—from Diddy to Dr. Dre to Jay Z. Now it's a woman's turn."

Nicki is packing major heat as she rocks an edgy bob hairstyle and some sophisticated menswear in the magazine's shoot.

"Seeing Beyoncé with her daughter and husband was so tender," she admitted. "It showed me that it is possible to be an animal on stage and a caring mother at the same time."

The queen of YMCMB says she’s looking for an “upright man, who will take care of me. Family has always been very important to me, and that is why I want to wait until the right moment before starting my own," she said. "Right now I am too busy, but at a certain point the situation will change."

We can’t wait to meet the man she chooses to settle down with!
