Nkhabutlane romps to Two Oceans win

Motlokoa Nkhabutlane of Lesotho has won the 2015 Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town on Saturday.

Motlokoa Nkhabutlane of Lesotho has won the 2015 Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town on Saturday.

Nkhabutlane completed the 56km in a time of 3:10:27, more than two minutes ahead of Collen Makhaza, who in turn, finished just over a minute ahead of third-placed Moeketsi Mosuhli.

Caroline Wostmann secured victory in the women's race in a time of 3:41:18, ahead of 2014 champion Nina Podnebesnova.

Ultra Marathon rookie Tanith Maxwell finished behind Podnebesnova in third.

Meanwhile, Stephen Mokoka and Lebogang Phalula were victorious in the men's and women's half-marathon events.

This is Mokoka's third victory in the race, while Phalula won the title her twin sister, Diana-Lebo, who won the race a year ago.
