We had different goals - Nomuzi

Rapper and television personality Nomuzi Mabena popularly know as Skhanda Queen left the record label that made her music famous, Cash Time earlier this year.

The news of her move surprised many as Nomuzi was the only female rapper at Cash Time and people were looking forward to her album released under the label. Many speculated if she left because of beef with stable owner rapper KO. Both Nomuzi and Cash Time said there was no bad blood in the separation.

Speaking to True Love in the July issue, Nomuzi explains why she left the stable. "I left the label because we had different goals for my career. It worked for a while, but I was trying to extend my brand, while they focused on making music," she explains in the magazine.

Nomuzi says being part of Cash Time helped her when it did and they have no bad blood.

"I have nothing but love for Cash Time. I just needed people who were more involved in my career especially on the TV side," she adds.
